Mazda has unveiled its latest SUV, the Mazda EZ-60, in China, marking the brand’s boldest step yet in the electric vehicle market. Promising strong performance, advanced features, and highly competitive pricing, the model will be released globally in 2026 under the name Mazda CX-6e.
Two Versions: Electric and Hybrid

The EZ-60 comes in both a fully electric and a hybrid configuration.

The EV version is powered by a 190 kW motor paired with a 77.94 kWh LFP battery, delivering up to 600 km (about 373 miles) of range on a single charge.

The hybrid version combines the same 190 kW electric motor with a 1.5-liter gasoline engine, which acts primarily as a generator. This setup offers around 200 km (124 miles) of electric range, while the combined system extends total driving range to approximately 1,000 km (621 miles).

The EZ-60 reflects Mazda’s modern design language, with a closed front grille and an illuminated Mazda emblem for a futuristic touch. Inside, the SUV introduces several high-tech features, including:

A massive 50-inch Head-Up Display (HUD) projecting key driving data onto the windshield.

Level 2 autonomous driving capabilities, supported by multiple cameras and radar systems for driver assistance.
Pricing and Global Launch

In China, the EZ-60 is priced aggressively, starting at around $15,000 and topping out near $20,000 depending on the version. While prices are expected to be higher in global markets, Mazda aims to keep the CX-6e affordable compared to competitors, making it an attractive entry in the growing EV segment.
With its combination of extended range, cutting-edge features, and highly competitive pricing, the Mazda EZ-60 (CX-6e) positions itself as a strong rival to established electric SUVs when it arrives in the U.S. and other markets in 2026.
